Mughal Empire was the modern kingdom that ruled South-Asia for more than two centuries. They extended their empire from Afghanistan to Bangladesh and established themselves as the greatest empires to have ever existed in South Asia. One important thing notice about the empire was that it established its realm in those regions which were predominantly Hindu. They never imposed their religion on the regions they annexed, they get mixed with them.

It is said that the base of the empire was laid by “Babur” in 1526. Babur was a warrior from “Chieftain”. He took help from “Safavid” and “Ottoman Empire” to defeat the ruler of “Delhi” and “Ibrahim Lodi” and establish his empire. Akbar was the renowned ruler of the empire married a Hindu Princess and introduced many religious reforms in the kingdom. The empire reigned gloriously for two centuries until the advent of “East India Company” in South Asia. The last ruler Bahadur Shah Zafar was detained by the company during the revolt of 1857.
