(b) Intercellular spaces are absent in sclerenchymatous tissues.
(c) We get a crunchy and granular feeling, when we chew pear fruit.
(d) Branches of a tree move and bend freely in high wind velocity.
(e) It is difficult to pull out the husk of a coconut tree
EASY ANSWERS PLZ!!

Respuesta :

A. The function of meristematic cells is to divide and so they don't require vacuoles whose function is to store waste food and water.

B. The sclerenchymatous tissue is used in plants to provide strengths and not flexibility, intercellular spaces would provide flexibility and not strength which is what the tissue is for.

the crunch and granular feeling is due to the irregular shape and form of the sclerotic cells in the pear fruit.

C. This occurs due to the presence of collenchyma which is a simple or basic tissue that doesn't offer to much strength.

D. the husk of a coconut is made from sclerenchymatous cells and cellulose which makes it very tough and difficult to remove

Hope that helps
