why does wiesel describe so little of the time period between his fathers death and the liberation of buchenwald

Respuesta :

Throughout Wiesel's time in the camps, his father is the main reason he stays alive. He makes sacrifices to keep his father alive and begs his father not to die when he falls ill. After his father's death, Wiesel does not have a reason to live anymore. Even though he's not choosing to die or giving in to death, he's not living. Between the time of his father's death and the liberation, he's just going through the motions without feeling or attention. Therefore he has nothing to say.
