A motorcycle traveling at 15 m/s accelerates at a constant rate of 4.0 m/s over a distance of 50 meters. What is the final velocity of the motorcycle

Respuesta :

From equations of motion,

v^2 = u^2 + 2as ----- v = final velocity, u = initial velocity, a = acceleration, s = distance covered.

Using the vales given;

v^2 = 15^2 + 2*4*50 = 625
v = Sqrt (625) = 25 m/s
