i think that so many new genres happened then because that was when things in the world really started happening.

Maybe because Listening to 1 would be boring and there are so many ''tones'' you could make with a instrument and making new ones keep people entertained. Hip-Hop/ R&B is my favorite. Because they both have songs I can actually relate to. They both have a beautiful rhythm and such.
