HALT stands for
Hungry, Angry, Lonely, and Tired. These four components relate to our overall
of wellness. When the body is hungry we must give it sustenance; when we are
angry our body needs to quiet down; when we are lonely we need closeness; and
when we are tired we need rest. These are all just brain chemicals or feelings
that we naturally feel and experience through the course of our lives. These
four components when addressed adequately will lead to a well-balanced life.
