An electrician needs to buy 144 light bulbs. the light bulbs come in packages of 8. He bought 4 packages from the store and 5 packages from the shop. How many more packages of light bulbs does the electrician need to buy?

lets add 4+5=9×8=72-144=72÷8=9 the electrician needs to buy 9 more packs of light bulbs

144 = 32 + 40 + B
144 = 72 + B
144 - 72 = 72 - 72 + B
72 = B

72/8 = 9
