Eve told adam to take a bite even though he wasnt suppose to, then when god came, the fruit (other wise knowm as the fruit of knoledge I think), made Eve and adam hide in the bushes, which made god wonder where they were and when god found out, he punished the serpent, taking away his feet and making the serpent slither on the ground, and Eve and adam were both afraid to come out because they were naked, thats wheren sins first started.
