Operation Cedar Falls in 1967 was designed to remove NLF strongholds around the Saigon area.
US thought the formation of national liberation front in Veitnam and the unification of north and south as a threat and step towards communalism. So US in 1967 sent around 4,303,101 out of which 8484 were women to remove NLF.
