Parts of a
male reproductive system
a. Penis – used in sexual intercourse. It contains semen which has sperms in it.
b. Scrotum – the pouch like sac of skin that hangs behind and below the penis. It contains the testes and acts as climate control system.
c. Testicle (testes) – responsible for the making of testosterone
d. Epididymis – transports and stores the sperm cells
e. Vas deferens – transports mature sperm into the urethra
f. Urethra – tube that carries urine from the bladder to outside of the body
g. Seminal vesicles – produces fructose to help the sperm move
h. Prostate gland – contributes additional fluid to ejaculate
