Mr. Stevens drives 110 miles in 2 hours, 165 miles in 3 hours, and 220 miles in 4 hours. How many miles will he drive in 5 hours?

Let's see -

Since you know how many miles Mr Stevens drives in 2 hours, just simply divide 110 by 2 to get how many miles he drives in one hour.

110 ÷ 2 = 55

Now you can multiply 55 by 5 (for the 5 hours) to see how far he drives in that time frame.

55 × 5 = 275

So, basically, for each hour you add 55 miles. :)
