a.) The shading is above both lines we know that for a fact because both inequalities provided show a greater than sign facing the y which means that the shaded part of that particular (and in this case both) line(s) is above the line. All the answers are positive. The Domain is all real numbers.

b.) the answer (-2, 5) is a possible solution because if you plug it into either inequality is works out.
