In 1 or 2 clear, well-written paragraphs, analyze and explain how Emily Dickinson's use of capital letters, line length, and word position in "The Wind Begun to Rock the Grass" contributes to the poem's meaning. Make sure you cite specific moments and lines from the poem itself to help explain your ideas.

(Here is the poem)

The Wind begun to rock the Grass
With threatening Tunes and low--
He threw a Menace at the Earth--
A Menace at the Sky.

The Leaves unhooked themselves from Trees--
And started all abroad
The Dust did scoop itself like Hands
And threw away the Road.

The Wagons quickened on the Streets
The Thunder hurried slow--
The Lightning showed a Yellow Beak
And then a livid Claw.

The Birds put up the Bars to Nests--
The Cattle fled to Barns--
There came one drop of Giant Rain
And then as if the Hands

That held the Dams had parted hold
The Waters Wrecked the Sky,
But overlooked my Father's House--
Just quartering a Tree--

She uses the capital letters to make those words stand out becuase they are key details in this poem. whenever she does -- in the poem it is showing a pause to make it more dramatic.
She uses capital letters in words during the poem to stand them out. For example, if you read, "the trees," or "the Trees," which one would stand out more, or grab your attention more?
