You are most likely at a TRANSFORM PLATE BOUNDARY. Transform plate boundaries occur where two plates slid horizontally past each other. Since no convergence (subduction) or divergence takes place here, volcanoes are NOT formed at this type of boundary. The main features that occur here are earthquakes, extensive strike slip fault zones, and offset stream channels.
A famous transform plate boundary is the San Andreas Fault in California USA.
