Sweden is a country where the aging population has become a very big problem. The birthrates are very low, and the life expectancy is very high, and on the long term that is damaging for the country from any perspective. The Swedish government has been trying for some time now to encourage the population growth, but with little effect.

China and India are a totally different story. They are the most populated countries in the world. China has been trying in the past few decades to control the birthrates in order to control and stop the population growth, while India has started recently with those policies. In China, the effect can be seen, though not as the desired one, but in India there isn't any effect on the discouraging of the population growth so far.
