please help!i need it now!!!!!
which of the following is true about the expression sqrt3*2 a.It represents the product of one rational and one irrational number and is equivalent to a rational number. b. it represents the product of one rational and one irrational and is equivalent to an irrational number. c. It represents the product of two rational numbers and is equivalent to a rational number. d. It represents the product of two rational numbers and is equivalent to an irrational number.

Respuesta :

I believe the answer would be D.

3 and 2 are both rational numbers as they can be represented in an imperfect fraction. The product of the two is 6, which is a rational number on its own, but with it asking for the square root makes it irrational since the square root of six cannot be represented by an imperfect fraction.
