Honey bee belongs to the Kingdom; Animalia, Phylum; Arthropoda, Class; Insecta, Order; Hymenoptera, Family; Apidae, Genus; Apis, Specie; about 7 species are known but Apis mellifera (western honeybee) is the most popular.
