catalyst increases the rate of a chemical reaction
Hey,

Catalyst is the answer.
A catalyst is a substance that speeds up chemical reactions and the best thing about them is that they don’t get used up through the process.
This means that they won’t run out no matter how much times they are used.

An example of a catalyst would be potassium permanganate.
Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) eventually breaks down into hydrogen and oxygen.
But Potassium permanganate(KMnO4) speeds up this process.

There are also biological catalysts like saliva that helps breaks down food.Theese are called enzymes.

Hope this helps!!
