disciples to receive the Holy Spirit. The disciples were told by Jesus, before
his death, that the Holy Spirit would take what belongs to Him then give it to
them when he passed away. On the day of the Pentecost, the Holy Spirit
poured-out into followers of Jesus after he ascended into heaven.
