Please help with these questions QUICKLY PLEASE

1: in a recipe for trail mix the ratio of chocolate to nuts is a 4 to 7 ratio. If there are 32cuos of chocolate how many cups of nuts?

2: which runs faster, a cheetah that can run 90 feet in 3 seconds or a gazelle that can run 128 feet in 8 seconds? (Unit rate)

First question:

Write and solve an equation of ratios:

in a recipe for trail mix the ratio of chocolate to nuts is a 4 to 7 ratio. If there are 32cups of chocolate how many cups of nuts?

 C       4       32
---- = ---- = -----
 N       7        x

Cross multiplying, we get 4x = 32(7) = 4(8)(7).  Dividing all terms by 4, 
we get 

x = (8)(7) = 56.       You'll need 56 cups of nuts to mix with 32 cups of chocolate for a trail mix ratio 4:7.
