Turns out that so far most of them have been utter financial failures and some have even been worse ecologically than were the things they were supposed to replace.

The agency was a concentrated effort to enforce laws that would decrease needless consumption of natural resources and decrease their effects on the environment. The EPA has created regulations for corporations and organizations limiting them to a certain amount of emissions or limiting the ways they can dispose of waste. The EPA puts a greater pressure on companies to be environmentally conscious and decreases the amount of US waste emissions.
