Of 410 consumers polled some purchased music on CD's some only download music, and some do both. If 290 people polled purchase CD's and 220 purchase CD's and download music, how many people download music?

People who bought CD = 290

People who bought CD alone = 290 – 220 = 70

Therefore the number of people who download music alone is:

People who download music alone = 410 – 220 – 70 = 120

 

Therefore the total number of people who download music is:
