Focus on beauty of nature and use of supernatural creatures - Romanticism
Whereas romanticism was deeply immersed in lyrical moods and sublime topics, making use of great, extravagant heroes who opposed the world order and social conventions, elevating above trivial and dreary everyday life, realism turned to the poetics of ordinariness, and small people who lived at the bottom of society, such as poor people, workers, miners, lower social classes.
