Ginger sent 18 text messages yesterday Jerry sent 4 more than twice as many messages as Ginger sent. Kyle sent 15 fewer messages than Jerry. How many text messages did Jerry and Kyle send?

K sent -15 of J

So...
18 times 2 is 36. Then add 4 to get 40. 
So, Jerry sent 40

then subtract 15 to 40... 40-15... which equals 25

Jerry is 40 texts
Kyle is 25 texts.
