The style of painting, form and enlivening expressions related to the Renaissance developed in Italy in the late fourteenth century; it achieved its apex in the late fifteenth and mid sixteenth centuries, in the art created by Italian maestros, like, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Raphael.
