What is the answer for "When constructing parallel lines, how can you be sure the lines you constructed are parallel"?

Draw  a line,  then set your compass to a convenient width. Keeping the same compass setting. draw two arcs from 2 points  on the line , above that line.
Then draw the parallel line which just touches the tops of the 2 arcs.
