I am a grade 9 student currently studying biology, chemistry and more as my electives. \ desire to be a doctor and is amazed by the human body and structures of the cell. I did became the first in class in biology but with a B grade in term test, however when it compares to other classes, I was only the average . Moreover, during the recent biology exam, I believe I attain a low grade despite my expectation I have towards the subject and the time I took to revise the subject.! go through all the worksheets, teacher's teaching videos etc, and hope that I could ace it. But ... end up the exam covered about calculations I never encounter, experiments that are unrelated to the worksheets and a lot of critical thinking needed. Moreover, during my Middle School, my math was already very poor, attaining a D/C no matter how hard I try. And even, for the grade I get in Chemistry was around B, which is the average of my class. Should I rethink my future career goals if I continue to get a low grade? My year was very competitive and if I did worse for my year's local exam, perhaps only attain a B or even worse C / D in Biology/Chemistry or Math, my favourite university would not even try to interview me due to the expected entry grade of A*A*A*A.
