The colligative properties of water consist of
1) freezing point depression,
2)boiling point elevation,
3)vapour pressure lowering and
4) osmotic pressure
As a result of the addition of 2 tablespoons of honey, water’s osmotic pressure will increase, i.e. now honey and water solution will easily pass through the semi-permeable solution and its vapour pressure will decrease.
