Things you should do if you want to help
- Take the person seriously, listen to them, maybe even try to ask what they are planning. But do not attempt to argue them out of it, instead let the person know you care and are listening.
- Avoid saying cheesy and over rated statements such as " You have so much to live for" the main reason is because the whole reason most people try to commit suicide because they feel worthless and helpless and if you say things like this they are not going to trust what you have said or going to say. Instead try to see if they have sought professional help or are doing so currently.
