Paper shredders became more common among U.S. citizens with privacy concerns in which the Supreme Court of the United States thought that the Fourth Amendment does not inhibit the warrant less exploration and breakdown of trash left for gathering outside of a house. Anti-burning authorities also appeared in an improved search for paper shredding.
