The ancient Egyptians constructed the most majestic an detailed tombs of ancient civilizations. These tombs were suppose to be the final resting place for Kings and Pharaohs.

Usually, the most wonderful and valuable possessions of the deceased were put in the tomb because of the belief that they could be used in the afterlife of the Pharaoh or King.

Choice B the threat of the tomb being robbed will be the correct answer because there was always the possibility of the tomb being broken in as the years passed by tomb robbers to take the valued items placed inside it.

the secret passages were built to confuse, deter and make it more difficult for  any potential  thief to accomplish his purpose. Unfortunately, these measures were ineffective in some cases and thieves achieve their goals.  One of the most famous tombs of this period was Tutankhamen´s which was found intact with all the wonderful treasures it contained.
