In the play Macbeth, does Lady Macbeth’s deterioration in Act V redeem her character in the eyes of the audience? Why or why not?

Well, every person is going to have a different opinion about this topic. For me, personally, no, her deterioration does not redeem her character. She was an accomplice in a couple of murders, and said nothing to anyone about her murdering husband. In fact, she was the one who pushed him over the edge - into committing his first murder. So, no, I don't think she's redeemed herself just because she went mad and committed suicide, but this is open for debate.
