A number cube with the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 is rolled 1000 times. About how many times would it be expected that a number greater than 4 is rolled?

A. 167
B. 333
C. 500
D. 667

Respuesta :

I believe so it's B.
1000*1/3= 333.33333333 (Goes on), since you cant have a fraction of a roll, round it to about 333.
Take 1000 and divide it by 6 because that's how many numbers are on the dice that would equal 166.4
Then you would multiply 166.4 by 2 because that's how many numbers are greater than 4 and that would equal 332.8 then you would round up so your final answer would be 333
