The waste and extra water become urine, which flows to your bladder through tubes called ureters. Your bladder stores urine until you go to the bathroom. Thekidneys remove wastes and extra water from the blood to form urine.

They get rid of the carbon dioxide that our bodies don't need. This happens when we breathe out, as is described in the section on the respiratory system.
