Slope Formula: [tex]m= \frac{ y_{2} }{ x_{2} } - \frac{ y_{1} }{ x_{1} } [/tex]
I am going to show you how to do this on problem 6, and you will do the rest of the problems.
Here are the steps to solving problem 6
Step 1) Substitute the coordinates into the slope formula
[tex] \frac{-1-2}{-18-(-8)} [/tex]
Step 2) Now Lets simplify the denominator, so we don't have two Subtractions symbols.
[tex] \frac{-1-2}{-18+8} [/tex]
Step 3) Simplify
[tex] \frac{-1-2}{-18+8} = \frac{-3}{-10} [/tex]
Step 4) We can still simplify more
[tex] \frac{-3}{-10} = \frac{3}{10} [/tex]
Hope This Helps ... Good Luck
[The reason I didn't do all of them is because you need to know how to do them. Trust me later on knowing these is going to be very handy.]
