People think that drinking cold water will help them to burn more calories than by drinking room temperature water. However, this is going to be false. The ice water does make a persons body temperature rise, but this only take makes the calorie burn very small. The calories burned by drinking ice water is only 8 calories. Water is needed for the body to boost health. Drinking 8 glasses of water a day will help you lose weight and to be healthy. It does not matter if you drink ice water or room temperature water the calories burned are almost the same. It is really up to the preference of the person drinking the water.
