Do you think that two negative integers could have the same difference as two positive integers? why or why not

Respuesta :

No, because if you add a negative to another negative, you will only get more negative. The same goes for positive. If you add a positive to a positive, you only get more positive.

You could also think of it as:
You add one rotten apple (a negative number) to a pile of rotten apples (more negative numbers). Just because you added a rotten apple to the pile, does that make it a good apple?

The same goes for good apples. If you add a good apple to a pile of more good apples, that doesn't create a rotten apple.

Hope this helped! Good luck :)
No because if you add two negatives it would be a positive, but if you add two positives. It would still be a positive.
