SOLUTION:
When we want to divide a number by another, we want to share the number into parts.
Example:
We want to divide 10 by 2, this means, we share 10 into 2 parts.
We can see that if we divide 10 pencils into groups of 2, we have 5 groups; therefore;
[tex]10\div2=5[/tex]Let me divide 12 by 4;
If we have 12 pencils, we share into groups of 4, we find out that we have 3 groups;
Thus;
[tex]12\div4=3[/tex]
