These jeans do not count as demand for you because demand is the willingness of a consumer (buyer) to purchase the item according to it's price and you did not buy it. The increase of price results in decrease of demand because it could out of people's price ranges.

This is not part of my demand, but my wish list. Individual demand consists of all goods and services demanded (purchased) by a consumer. If you do not buy the pants, no matter what the reason, they are not part of your demand. Suppose you bought a shirt and shoes, these items were part of your demand.
