This allows astronomers identify the elements in a star and analyze how they are moving. A) Space probes B) Spectroscopes C) Optical telescopes D) Visible light telescopes 3) Land near the ocean, along the coast, experiences weather that is more moderate than the inland climate. So, along the coast, you can predict that compared to inland weather, it should be __________ during the summer, and __________ during the winter. A) cooler; warmer B) warmer; cooler C) cooler; cooler D) warmer; warmer 4) How is the crust DIFFERENT from the other layers of the Earth? A) It is hotter. B) It is thinner. C) It is mostly liquid. That is A) a moderate climate. B) the presence of water on Earth. C) it is the perfect distance from the sun. D) it has gravity to hold an atmosphere in place. 6) What is the BEST way to discover if there is water on the surface of Mars? Respuesta :

1) Spectroscopes collect the light from distant stars and separate that light into bands of different colors. By studying the interaction between matter and electromagnetic radiation people can get the information about elements in stars etc.

2)I
t should be cooler during the summer, and warmer during the winter. These two facts are the result of proximity to the ocean.

3) The way h
ow is the crust different from the other layers of the Earth is: It is thinner. The deeper in the Earth, the hotter the mantle which also means that it is under greater pressure than the crust. Temperature and pressue increase with depth, so obviously that is the point which explains main difference.

4) The only one statement which makes no sense is definitely :
a moderate climate. According to the fact that there is no general climate for earth and it is divided into zones, this statement is pointless. The climate varies depending on the the area.

5) Definitely, the correct option that shows the best way how to find out whether there is water on Mars is :
Send space probes to Mars to study the surface. If the planet contains water it will cause an impact on the surface and examination of it will show that some of the samples are moist.

6) O
cean currents. According to the definitions of ocean currents, they show up as movement of seawater which are generated by forces acting upon this mean flow. I think that this option is the most suitable.

7) //M
ovement of carbon dioxide into or out of the atmosphere. I choose this option because you can find this element in all living things, the ocean, the atmosphere, soil, rocks and so on.
8) Hurricane. It also can be described as rapidly rotating storm system which  nicely coincides with the definition above.

9)
I am pretty sure that only culture can fill this gap because such changes lead to mental and general development of the whole nation which directly affects culture.
10) The mantle.
In order to support my choice with evidence I attached a picture which proves that I am right.
11) The last option.
The point which explains it in plain English is that 1) As far as I know,  spectroscopes collect the light from distant stars and separate that light into bands of different colors. By studying the interaction between matter and electromagnetic radiation people can get the information about elements in stars etc.
