The interactions between Europeans and the native peoples of North America were very different from the interactions between Europeans
and the Maya, Inca, and Aztec of Mesoamerica.
For evidence you can talk about how europeans gave natives diseases and decreased their population, which led to the end of a native civilization (I think it was the Tainos.)
