Suppose you are sitting in the passenger seat of a parked car. You hear sounds coming from the stereo of another car parked on the opposite side of the street. You can easily hear the low-pitched bass sounds but cannot hear the any high-pitched sounds coming from the parked car. Explain why you think this happens.

This happen because of what is called Doppler effect and it occur you who is the receiver of the sound waves is in motion and the source of the wave is stagnant.
