In what ways did the conflict over the Second Bank of the United States reveal the growing sectionalism in the U.S.?

Respuesta :

It did because the people were upset with the second back of the United Staes.

The Second Bank of the United States was located in Philadelphia, it was a private corporation with public duties. It was established in 1816 and regulated money for the government. The conflict over this bank reveals the growing sectionalism in the Us during that time because the East and North of the US supported the Bank, but the West did not.

Andrew Jackson was against it, he was personally anti-bank and did everything to kill its reputation. This led to the Bank War led by Jackson and Henry Clay.

The Second Bank became the center of 1832 president election, Jackson won the election and closed the bank by removing its federal deposits.
