Find length FD
FD is Opposite
BD adjacent
O + A is Toa
Tan20 = o/9
x9
9 x Tan20 = o
O = 3.2757.... (ans)
Opposite/ FD is 3.28cm to 2.p.d
Draw diagonal line from A to D & find its length - that's the hypotenuse of a right-angle created
Use Pythagoras Theorem
a^2 + b^2 = c^2
25^2 + 9^2 = c^2
Square root both sides to get c
C = root 25^2 + 9^2
= root 706
= 26.57066...(ans)
AD is 26.57cm
Now create another right-angle triangle A to F to D back to A.
Label dimensions found such as the Length of AD to be 26.57.. Plus, FD to be 3.28.
Use trig for angel FAD:
Opposite of triangle is 3.28
Adjacent is 26.57
So, OA means Toa, but we're after an angle & have to use tan inverse instead.
Tan-1 (3.28/26.57) = 7.0374..
So, the angle is 7.04 degrees.
(ans) - ignore, I did use rounded figures in my ans, I was originally not going to, but I did.
Hope this helps!
