Or something formatted like that, its the exact same thing, only there's a different sign. So I believe the first one would be:

x + 3 < 5

   - 3    -3

x = 2

But I just learnt how to do this so let me know if it works :)

Also! If the number after the sign's (such as < or >) sign changes (such as -3 becomes 3 or 3 becomes -3. or even when -3 becomes 1) then you swap the sign ( < becomes > and visa versa) But this only works if it changes due to a multiplication or division. Example:

-3x >  3

(divide by -3)

x < -1

3 is [1,4]
4 is (3,7)
