Islam spread extensively along the east coast of Africa by foreign traders.
The East African coast by having greater contact with several peoples during its history underwent great influences of the same. One of these influences in their respective religions. In the region known as East Africa where we can find the East African coast, the predominant religions are the Muslim and Christian being the last one in most part because it was the most widespread by the beginners that made the market in the continent. African peoples often combine the practice of their traditional belief with the practice of religions in which they interact.
