In this story it talks about how people lived here and how brief it was.It also talks about inspiring is was. Also how the founding fathers treated the people and how all men are equal. This is all I could think of sorry

I have to agree with the newspaper. The Gettysburg Address inspired many in different ways. In the Providence Journal, the author writes, "We know not where to look for a more admirable speech than the brief one which the President made...". This means that the newspaper thinks that the Gettysburg Address is a rare, arousing and well-respected speeches they have heard or found. I also think that in this phrase " this nation under God shall have a new birth of freedom, and that government of the people, by the people, for the people shall not perish from the earth. " the President made the country feel progression and unity and showed us that we gained something from the battles; freedom.
The Providence Journal also writes that the speech inspired; " Could the most elaborate and splendid be more beautiful, more touching, more inspiring, than those thrilling words of the President? ". In the phrase " those who here gave their lives that that nation might live " the president showed the people that the men that fought in the war weren't just fighting for themselves, they were willing to give their life for the nation. The Gettysburg address inspired many American men and women to fight for their country.
