Suppose you want to determine which type of paper falls the fastest; an unfolded sheet of paper, a sheet of paper folded into fourths or a crumpled sheet of paper. You hypothesize that the crumpled paper falls the fastest. How would you use the scientific method to prove your hypothesis? I really need some help with this one!

Respuesta :

For starters, I would get the same height for each paper, such as a counter top. Then, I would make said paper. You would use a timer of course, maybe even something like a speed gun to calculate the speed as said paper falls. You would push each paper off the counter top and calculate the speed for each paper. This is the easiest way to prove your hypothesis.
if i drop a crumbled piece of paper then it will fall the fasts because it wont  fall as fast as the unfolded because it will catch wind and take longer to fall
