Question 1 Answer
It happens in a short period of time because unlike sexual reproduction it does not involve finding a mate, finding gametes, fertilization and development of an embryo. This make the process more speedy and increases the population of organisms that produce this way at a fast rate.
Question 2 Answer
Asexual reproduction involves only one parent and the offsprings are produced by mitosis. Where as sexual reproduction involves two parents. Gametes are produced in reproductive organs by meiosis.
Off springs of asexual reproduction usually remain close to the parent. This increases the chances of over crowding and competition. Where as in sexual reproduction offsprings are usually dispersed over a large area. This reduces the chances of overcrowding and competition.
Question 3 Answer
Living organisms must produce offsprings in order for their species to survive.
