Conduction: In conduction, the heat is transmitted through the agitation of the molecules, which when colliding with each other transfer heat quickly. Metals that are good conductors of heat are bodies that use conduction a lot. That's because by heating up a part of that metal, the molecules will start to move quickly, and they will hit each other violently, spreading heat to all the metal.

Convection: This is the type of heat transfer common between gases and liquids. this type of heat transfer occurs with the difference in density in the liquid or gas. This is because the warmer part of the liquid or gas becomes lighter than the cold part, so the cold part will tend to go down, while the hot part will tend to go up. This cycle will be repeated several times, until all the liquid or gas has the same temperature.
